Initial Consultation

You and your partner are asked to attend a mediation information and assessment meeting (MIAM). These meetings can take place separately or jointly as required.

Further Meetings

If you and your partner agree, a joint meeting is arranged, during which the mediator will facilitate discussions with a view to reaching practical solutions for you and your family.

Agreement

Mediation facilitates communication to achieve an agreement that is acceptable to both parties without the need for a lengthy court battle
